RELAX AND SAVE MONEY WITH A SIMPLE WAY TO MAKE HOT WATER
Seacoast Energy Alternatives has solar hot water systems that start as low as $9,000 including installation.
State and Federal rebates translate into even more savings:
Anyone who's ever left a garden hose out in the summer sun knows that the water gets very hot. Now, imagine capturing that same power from the sun with a system that collects and stores the heated water so you can use it in your home or business all year long. That is the basic idea behind solar hot water. In fact the average household can easily satisfy 75–85 percent or more of its annual hot water needs purely from solar. And today, these systems are more affordable than ever.
Let’s consider that over the last 25 years the price of oil has increased at an average of 8% per year. And, it’s still rising!
A solar hot water system could cut your fuel expenses by 25% over that same 25 year period
Seacoast Energy Alternatives offers four types of solar hot water systems.
The Wagner Secusol hot water system is a dramatic step forward both in price and performance. Because of the way the system is delivered, installation time is dramatically reduced, and because it is a drainback system it requires no over pressure or over heat protection, again saving costs. Finally the Wagner Euro 20 collector used in the system is the highest rated flat plate collector on the market. Lowest cost with highest performance is an odd combination but we’ve seen the results. The Wagner Eco 300 and 400 series provide conventional solar hot water design with again the best collector on the market. These systems are designed to cover 70-80% of domestic hot water for families of 2-6 members.
The Wagner Combi systems are designed to provide a large percentage of the domestic hot water load and a modest percentage of heating for homes with radiant floor or warm air heat. Again using the best flat plate on the market and 25 years of SHW experience, Wagner offers industry leading pre-engineered systems that will be up and running quickly and provide 20 years and more of stellar performance. These systems in general can be designed to provide 20-50% of the house heat load depending on the actual heating demand.
